Maintenance is crucial to the health and functionality of your septic system. Having maintenance done can help to prevent emergency back-ups. Similar to how you go to the doctor for a health check-up, your septic system needs the same treatment. 

 

Maintenance involves us coming to your location and pumping and cleaning out the septic tank and/or cesspools. Using bacteria and chemical treatments alone will not prevent you from having a back-up. Maintenance should be done every 1-4 years depending on the amount of people in your home, the type of septic system you have, and the age and size of your septic system.  At East-Nor, we mail each of our customers maintenance reminder postcards to let them know when they are due to have their septic system checked and serviced.
